Notes Regarding Tours

  • Individual photography is possible. However, if media personnel wish to be photographed, please contact us in advance.
  • Please refrain from taking pictures of other visitors, believers, and people worshiping.

About Clothing

  • Kobe Muslim Mosque is a sacred place where believers worship.
  • For women, wear clothing that does not expose much of your body, such as long sleeves, long pants, and a long skirt (covering your ankles). Please refrain from entering in shorts, camisoles, tank tops, miniskirts, etc. Scarves are available for rent for women who do not bring their own. Please contact us at the reception.
  • For men, please refrain from entering in shorts or tank tops above the knee.

Precautions in the Prayer Hall

  • Kobe Muslim Mosque is a sacred place where believers worship.
  • Please put your shoes in the shoe rack at the entrance.
  • Please refrain from speaking privately and be quiet in the worship space.
  • Taking photos or videos during worship is prohibited. It is possible to observe the mosque during the worship, but please sit quietly in the back and refrain from walking around the hall.
  • The upper floor of the prayer hall is a women-only prayer space. Please refrain from allowing men to enter.
  • Please refrain from entering the mosque with pets.
